In order to set up my website and email, I needed a VPS. I've previously had VPS from Vultr and OVH, but they are quite expensive (around £3-£4 a month) for my use case. Luckily I remembered about [LowEndBox](https://lowendbox.com/), and I found a good deal for a RackNerd VPS (less than £15 a year). While browsingthe site I noticed something however. One, my ad blocker didn't seem to be working, and two, I didn't mind.

For the last month I've been using a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ as my main computer. Overall I think it's gone quite well, for most things I do (i.e. anything done in a terminal), it works perfectly well. There have been some minor annoyances however, for example not being able to use a modern web browser. I'm in the process of replacing a lot of these tasks with terminal tools, but there are some things which do require the web (for example renewing GitHub keys, or commenting on GitHub issues in other people's repos).

+Both of the major spell check libraries (hunspell and aspell) are rather large projects. I'm sure they are well written, and they serve a purpose, but a more minimalist alternative should be possible.

+I previosuly had a project named GoTube, a TUI YouTube client with thumbnail support via ueberzug, and account integration via the innertube browser API. My plan is to split this project up into a backend, and a frontend video viewer, as the frontend video viewer could be used for more than just YouTube, and the backend tools could be useful by themselves. Maintaining this was a bit of a chore as YouTube are always changing their website JSON format. I'm egenerally anti-AI for programming but this could be a genuine usecase, more experementation is needed.
